www.societyofauthors.org - never thought I'd find myself belonging to a club who would have me as a member... the Society of Authors is THE organisation to belong to if you are a writer, for so many reasons. Have a look at their web site to see what I mean...
www.thecwa.co.uk - the Crime Writers' Association - they've let me in, too. An august crime writing association, they organise the various Dagger awards, and, among many other things, invite members to join regional Chapters. Disappointingly, they don't provide Harley Davidson's and cut-off leather jackets - guess I'll have to get my own (faux leather for me, of course!)

www.eurocrime.co.uk - a vast repository of British and other European crime writers and their books. together with forthcoming titles, reviews, news, events - it's frighteningly addictive!
www.shotsmag.co.uk - excellent crime & mystery ezine. A great source of current crime goings-on.

www.writersnews.co.uk - the best writers' magazine in the business. A wealth of information on all aspects of writing, and, together with its sister production, writing magazine, it's always been a huge source of inspiration to me.
www.writingmagazine.co.uk - a must for any writer. If you want to write a novel (or a play, film, poem, short story, book on tractor parts etc.) subscribe to this magazine.
